DAY 1: Bariloche
Arrival in Bariloche on ODD days only. Airport or Bus Station Pick up. Transfer to selected accommodation and check in.
DAY 2: Bariloche
Breakfast. At 2.30 pm, Mt Campanario and Circuito Chico Half Day excursion: The Tour starts in Bariloche along Bustillo Avenue with an amazing view of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Right at the km. 8 of the road you will find Playa Bonita, from where you can see Huemul Island. Later on, after traversing different landscapes, you will arrive at the foot of Mt. Campanario.
There is a chairlift that visitors can use to get to the 1500mts of the hill. There is a tearoom on top and also a terrace where you can admire one of the most complete and beautiful views of northern Patagonia.
Returning to the tour along Bustillo Avenue, the bus enters San Pedro Peninsula.
At the km. 23 of Bustillo Avenue you will reach Villa Llao Llao, site of the San Eduardo Chapel, a jewel of regional architecture and place of the magnificent Llao Llao hotel.
From there the route goes through the Llao Llao Peninsula.
After bordering Lake Escondido at km. 33, the road passes over Narrow Bridge Creek, that separates the Moreno Lake from Nahuel Huapi Lake. At km40 you will reach the famous Panoramic Point of 945 meters high, where you can appreciate the majesty of the landscape that make up the Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula.
DAY 3: Bariloche
Breakfast. Tronador Excursion
The Tronador excursion starts from Bariloche at 9am approx. heading south along route 40 through lakes Gutierrez and Mascardi and then to enter the southern part of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. The first stop is the path that leads to the Laguna Los Moscos where you will do a hike for approx 1hr. You will pass by a road of incredible vegetation that leads to the viewpoint of Lake Los Moscos.
Then continue your route with the mini bus for the second hike to the Caesars waterfall. In this case 1 hour and 30 minutes walk approx. where you will enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the National Park with its lookouts and waterfalls.
On the return, the vehicle will continue along the valley of the river bordering Vuriloches to appreciate the gentle presence of Mount Tronador (the highest in the area with 3,554 mts.) with glaciers descending down its slopes.
You will make a stop at Pampa Linda for lunch (not included) and then continue to the Black Glacier, the only Black Glacier in Patagonia, where you will have another walk to the lookout (20min approx) and enjoy the Glacier uniqueness. You will return to Bariloche arriving approx. at 7.30 pm.
DAY 4: Bariloche-Perito Moreno
Check out. At 6.45 am, departure to Perito Moreno village on EVEN days. In the evening (8pm), arrival in Perito Moreno. Connection with Night BUS to El Chalten.
DAY 5: El Chalten
In the morning, arrival in El Chalten. Accomodation. Free day for self guided trekking trails.
DAY 6: El Chalten-Calafate
Free day to trek the beautiful paths of Los Glaciares National Park and to take pictures of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. In the afternoon, at 6 pm, departure to El Calafate. Check in at selected accommodation.
DAY 7: Calafate
Breakfast. At 7 am or 9 am depending on season, Perito Moreno Glacier Full Day Tour: People from all over the world come to this remote place in Southern Patagonia to be a witness of the Ice Age. This is one of the only moving glaciers in the planet, and a visit is not only worth, is a MUST.
You start from El Calafate early in the morning to enjoy the landscape, the nature, the fauna and the wide variety of birds (trying to arrive to the glacier before everyone). Through the gateways you visit the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, in different viewpoints from different altitudes.
DAY 8: Calafate
Breakfast. 5.30 am, Torres del Paine Full Day Tour: The tour starts from El Calafate. You will reach the border between Argentina and Chile at 10:00 hs. and make the customs procedures. Then you make a stop in "Cerro Castillo" town. At 11:00 hs. you go on to the "Lago Sarmiento", where you stay there for a while to take photographs and to enjoy the amazing landscape.
You arrive to "Laguna Amarga" and pay the entrance to the "Torres del Paine National Park" (not included). You go to the "Nordenskjol Lake", from where you are going to admire the imposing sight to the "Cuernos del Paine". Once you arrive to "Pudeto" you visit the "Salto Grande waterfall" where you do a trek. At 17:00 hs. you leave the National Park and make 3 new stops at beautiful viewpoints where you can appreciate the "Paine Range". You arrive to Castillo Hill at 18:00 and come back to Calafate.
DAY 9: Calafate
Free day to enjoy El Calafate, or to take optional tours.
DAY 10: Calafate-Rio Gallegos-Ushuaia
Check out 2 am. At 3 am, departure to Rio Gallegos, connecting another bus to Ushuaia at 8.30 ? 9 am. Arrival in Ushuaia in the night. Check in at selected accommodation.
DAY 11: Ushuaia
Breakfast. 9 am, Half Day Tour to Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego
Get ready to walk along thousand-year-old paths in the only Argentine National Park that combines sea, mountains and forests. Everything right there in front of your eyes.
The list is truly moving: Lapataia Bay, the coast of the Beagle Channel, the most incredible flora and fauna with red foxes, woodpeckers, steamer ducks, condors, eagles, beaver dams and peat bogs, all rubbing shoulders in the most spectacular setting. Here you get right into this beautiful region and you experience it right up close. Back to Ushuaia at about 2 pm.
DAY 12: Ushuaia
Breakfast. 9 am, Sea Lion Colony Half Day Navigation: You will leave the local port, in the direction of Alice island to see the colony of sea lions, then you continue to the Birds Island where the king and imperial cormorants inhabit. Nearby, you will enjoy the view of the Rock Cormorants on the cliffs. Then, you navigate towards the Sea Lions Island to see them and also fur seals. Finally, you find Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, which was made in 1919 and it?s the symbol of the city. Return to Ushuaia

San Carlos de Bariloche was founded on May, 1902 on the shores of the Nahuel Huapi Lake in the province of Río Negro. The city stands out for its architectural features and for being located in a privileged region due to the beauty of its landscapes made up of mountains, woods, lakes, glaciers, and an exuberant flora.
It is one of the most populated cities in the province and one of the most important tourist centres in Argentina atracting backpackers from every corner and with a lot of hostel activity.
Its characteristic architecture consists of buildings made from stones and wood with slated gabled roofs, that give the city a very special physiognomy. Among the most outstanding groups we can mention the Civic Centre, seat of the main official organisms.
Within the centre arteries there are varied shops and commercial shop centres, cafeterias, and restaurants. The city also has an important busy night life.
Mecca of the national and international tourism, Bariloche can be enjoyed all year long. In spring and summer seasons, it is ideal for carrying out all kinds of excursions and outdoor activities; in winter, the snow offers a singular panorama, including the skiing spectacle in one of the most Swiss replica watches important centres for the practice of this sport in South America: Mount Cathedral. In El Calafate you will find yourself at the gateway to the majestic world of glaciers.
This town is near Lake Argentino, a green water surface covering 1,600 km2, with a length of 60 km and a width between 12 and 14 km. It also has great mysterious depths, like all lakes orginated from glaciers, ranging from 35 m in Feruglio, on the southern shore, to 300 m off the Avellaneda Peninsula.
El Calafate connects you with the most unknown and magical features of our geography. It is 316 km. from Río Gallegos, 185 m.a.s.l. and receives its name from the small bush calafate, indigenous of Patagonia. Its fruit is a delicious berry very good for the elaboration of jam. According to tradition, whoever eats calafate will return for more. But reality indicates that whoever visits Calafate wants to stay there forever.
It is a tourist resort of both national and international importance, since it is the start of all glacier circuits. It is an oasis of poplars, willows and pines at the border of the steppe.
This small town and all its magic are a must for lovers of glaciers.
El Calafate presents a dry climate, with an average maximum temperature of 19ºC, and an average minimum of -2º in winter. The length of the day changes according to season. In summer, the sun rises at 5.30am and sets at 11pm. In winter the day is shorter as there are only 8 hours of daylight.
El Calafate is the main supplier in the area. It has a population of around 8,000 inhabitants on a 155,000-hectare surface, with rivers and creeks draining into the Atlantic Ocean through the Santa Cruz River.
The Glaciers National Park covers a surface of some 600,000 hectares with 47 glaciers, such as the Viedma, the Moyano, the Marconi, the Upsala, the Agassiz, the Bolado, the Onelli, the Peineta, the Spegazzini, the Mayo, the Ameghino, the Moreno and the Frías, all of them located within the Atlantic basin.
El Calafate can be visited thanks to a significant bus fleet used for excursions and modern boats that allow you to enjoy the classical viewpoint of the Perito Moreno Glacier or the audacious expeditions to cross the glaciers from one side to the other. The International Airport of El Calafate, inaugurated on November 17, 2000 and located 23km away from the city, receives direct flights from Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Pto.Madryn, San Carlos de Bariloche, and Puerto Natales, among other cities.

ituated in the Departament called Lago Argentino, El Chaltén is on the northen margin of Lago Viedma, in the confluence of rivers De las Vueltas and Fitz Roy, in the National Reserve Zona Viedma in Los Glaciares National Park.
In this landscape combine the magic of glaciers, hidden lagoons, estancias, Lake Viedma, and the magnetic presence of mount Fitz Roy. The summit of its unmistakable majestic silouete is almost always covered in a cloud that the Tehuelche thought was smoke, mistake that gave origin to the name Chaltén, which means volcano.
Two hundred people live in this town, distant 220 km. from El Calafate on provincial route Nº11, national route 40, and provincial route Nº 23.
El Chaltén is contiguous to Lake Viedma and its reserve, and has been declared National Hiking Capital for the variety of activities performed by hikers and climbers.
Most outings start in town, and it is not necessary to be an expert to follow the circuits if you walk on a current trail.
The granitic towers of mounts Torre and Fitz Roy compose spectacular panorama together with glaciers Viedma, Upsala and Moyano, which drain in Lago Viedma, with a surface of 106.000 has.

In the southern end of the Republic of Argentina, on the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, there lies Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Located on the Beagle Channel, it takes its name -which means "bay overlooking the West"- from the yámana tongue.
